Things aren’t always as they appear.

When Jesus was crucified on a hill outside Jerusalem 2,000 years ago it sure appeared as though evil had won. It appeared as though that was the end of this whole “Jesus being King” thing. It makes sense that even His closest followers thought it appeared like a lost cause.

But just 3 days later it was witnessed and recorded that Jesus actually rose from the dead, walked out of that grave, and it has turned the world upside down ever since.

It’s still turning things upside down. Sometimes Jesus helps to show the overly confident that they aren’t actually as strong or unstoppable as they thought. Sometimes this resurrected Jesus helps people realize that what we saw as dead dreams really can come back to life. And sometimes He simply reminds those who are suffering that we’re not alone.

The Easter story is filled with some amazing ironies that could really impact the joy in our lives today. So find out more by joining us for this special Easter service on Sunday, April 5th at 10:30am.

FAQ’s:

What can I expect to experience if I come?

You can expect to be welcomed (but not overwhelmed!) as you walk in. There will be fresh coffee and tea in our lobby for you to grab when you first come in.

When service starts, you can expect an upbeat, contemporary time of worship with live music, and then a message from our pastor that will help to connect the ancient story of Jesus rising from the dead with everyday realities of your life now. After the service, you can expect to find people sticking around for a few extra minutes because we enjoy spending time with one another as well as meeting new people.

Will there be anything for my kids?

Alive Church has a team of joyful, background-checked volunteers who are ready and excited to spend time with your kids! Currently, we have environments for children 4 years old and under. We will engage in worship together as a family, then dismiss our children to enjoy their own Easter lesson and craft time. For older kids, we will have activity packets for them to enjoy while they remain in service.

Is there a dress code?

Nope! Dress is casual, and our ‘feel’ is friendly and authentic. Come as you are— we mean it!
